John Evans

Dr. John L. Evans Jr. is the co-founder of Orlando’s Promising People, an Ed Tech company set on reducing recidivism. A member of the University of Central Florida Board of Trustees appointed by Governor DeSantis, he is also a partner at Parkway Venture Capital. He began his career as Special Assistant to then United States Senator Connie Mack. Evans has been a longtime contributor to the Orlando Sentinel and Forbes Executive Coach’s Council.

Dr. Evans attended the University of Florida, the University of Miami, and Pepperdine University. He has four children and resides in Winter Park, Florida.
